Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, maintain shopping carts and sessions, remember preferences, protect forms, understand website use, and support embedded content.

These technologies may include:

  • Necessary cookies required for security, checkout, shopping-cart functions, account access, and other core website features.
  • Analytics cookies used to understand website traffic and performance.
  • Functional or media cookies associated with embedded content such as YouTube videos or Facebook content.

You can manage nonessential cookies through the cookie-preference tool displayed on our website. You may also block or delete cookies using your browser settings, although doing so may affect shopping-cart, account, or checkout functions.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure website traffic and usage. Google Analytics may collect information about your device, browser, interactions with the website, and approximate geographic area. We configure Google Analytics with Google Signals and advertising personalization disabled. We retain Google Analytics user-level and event-level data for 14 months.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms and the website from spam, fraud, and abuse. reCAPTCHA may collect hardware and software information and send it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Embedded and Third-Party Content

We may embed YouTube videos or Facebook content. When embedded content loads or you interact with it, the provider may collect information, place cookies, or associate your activity with an account you have with that provider. Your cookie choices may affect whether this content loads.

Our website also contains links to external websites, including eBay and social-media services. Selecting an external link takes you to a service that operates under its own privacy policy. Rebootique is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

Email and Marketing Communications

We use Google Workspace and Mailgun to send and receive business and transactional email. We expect to use Mailchimp to manage voluntary marketing subscriptions and campaigns.

Purchasing from Rebootique does not automatically enroll you in marketing email. If you voluntarily subscribe, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the link in any marketing message or contacting us. After an unsubscribe request, we may retain a limited suppression record so that we can honor your choice.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including:

If Rebootique is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of some or all of its business or assets, information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

No Sale or Rental of Personal Information

Rebootique does not sell or rent personal information. We do not currently use personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including customer service, accounting, tax, security, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes. Our general retention periods are:

  • Privacy-request records: three years after the request is completed.

Third-party providers may retain information according to their own legal obligations and retention policies. We may also retain information longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, or protect against fraud or security threats.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. However, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information. You may also request information about how we use or disclose it.

To submit a privacy request, email hello@rebootique.io. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may retain or decline to delete information when permitted or required by law, including transaction records needed for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email through the unsubscribe link in a message. You may control nonessential cookies through our cookie-preference tool and applicable browser settings.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Because Rebootique does not sell personal information or currently use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, we do not offer a separate sale or targeted-advertising opt-out. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a browser-based privacy preference signal, we will process it as required.

Children’s Privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

International Visitors

Rebootique is based in the United States. If you access the website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

Our store initially serves customers in the United States. We will review and update this policy and our privacy practices before intentionally expanding sales to additional countries.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected personal information, we will provide additional notice when required by law.
